Conditions and Standards for the Vietnamese Heroic Mother

Article 17 of the 2020 Ordinance on Incentives for People with Contributions to the Revolution stipulates the conditions and standards for the Vietnamese Heroic Mother as follows:

The Vietnamese Heroic Mother is the individual conferred or posthumously conferred the title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" according to the regulations in the Ordinance on Stipulating the Honorable State Title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother."

Incentive Regime for the Vietnamese Heroic Mother

The incentive regime for the Vietnamese Heroic Mother is stipulated in Article 18 of this Ordinance:

1. Incentives for the relatives of martyrs as stipulated in clauses 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Article 16 of this Ordinance.

2. Monthly allowance equal to 03 times the standard rate.

3. Monthly supplementary allowance.

4. Care allowance for the Vietnamese Heroic Mother living with her family.

5. Annual health restoration.

6. The State and society gift gratitude houses or support housing improvements as stipulated at point e, clause 2, Article 5 of this Ordinance.

Incentive Regime for the Relatives of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother

Article 19 of this Ordinance also stipulates the incentive policies for the relatives of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother as follows:

1. One-time allowance for the relatives when the Vietnamese Heroic Mother is conferred the title but dies without receiving the incentive policies or is posthumously conferred the title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother."

2. One-time allowance for the relatives equal to 03 months of the current monthly allowance and supplementary allowance when the Vietnamese Heroic Mother receiving the monthly allowance and supplementary allowance dies.

3. Funeral allowance for the person or organization arranging the funeral when the Vietnamese Heroic Mother receiving the monthly allowance and supplementary allowance dies.

4. Health insurance for the person taking care of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother living with her family.
