Allowance for Disabled Individuals Living with Families in 2020

According to Article 16 of Decree 28/2012/ND-CP, the coefficient for calculating the monthly social allowance for persons with disabilities living in households is specified as follows:

- Coefficient of two (2.0) for persons with particularly severe disabilities;- Coefficient of two point five (2.5) for persons with particularly severe disabilities who are elderly or children;- Coefficient of one point five (1.5) for persons with severe disabilities;- Coefficient of two (2.0) for persons with severe disabilities who are elderly or children.

Moreover, Clause 1 of Article 15 of Decree 28/2012/ND-CP stipulates: The monthly social allowance, monthly care funding support, and monthly fostering funding amount for persons with disabilities shall be calculated based on the standard social allowance level for social protection beneficiaries as prescribed by the Government of Vietnam multiplied by the stipulated coefficient.

Based on Clause 1 of Article 4 of Decree 136/2013/ND-CP, the standard social allowance level for social protection is stipulated. Specifically: The standard social allowance, social assistance (hereinafter collectively referred to as the standard social assistance level) is 270,000 VND.

Thus, in 2020, the allowance for disabled persons living in families remains unchanged.
