04 Types of Martyr Memorial Works
Based on Clause 1, Article 60 of Decree 31/2013/ND-CP, which stipulates the memorial works for martyrs, including:
- The martyrs' cemetery, which is a place solely for burying the remains of martyrs, built solemnly to express respect towards the martyrs.
- The martyrs' monument, built in the political, cultural center of a province or centrally-run city; the center of a district, town, or provincial city without a martyrs' cemetery or where there is a notable historical site.
- The martyrs' temple, a place to worship and list the names of the martyrs, built in places with notable historical sites.
- The stele house listing martyrs' names, built in communes, wards, commune-level towns, districts, towns without a martyrs' cemetery.
