What type of crime is inciting others to commit suicide?
Section 2, Article 1 of the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code 2017 on Classification of Crimes:
Pursuant to the nature and extent of danger to society of the criminal acts stipulated in this Code, crimes are classified into the following 04 types:
a) Less serious crimes are those with a nature and extent of danger to society that are not significant, with the highest penalty bracket provided by this Code being a fine, non-custodial reform, or imprisonment up to 03 years;
b) Serious crimes are those with a nature and extent of danger to society that are significant, with the highest penalty bracket provided by this Code being above 03 years of imprisonment up to 07 years of imprisonment;
c) Very serious crimes are those with a nature and extent of danger to society that are very significant, with the highest penalty bracket provided by this Code being above 07 years of imprisonment up to 15 years of imprisonment;
d) Particularly serious crimes are those with a nature and extent of danger to society that are particularly significant, with the highest penalty bracket provided by this Code being above 15 years of imprisonment up to 20 years of imprisonment, life imprisonment, or capital punishment.

Article 131. Crime of Inciting or Aiding Another to Commit Suicide
- Anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be subject to non-custodial reform up to 03 years or imprisonment from 06 months to 03 years:
a) Inciting, enticing, or urging others to take their own lives;
b) Providing material or spiritual conditions for others to take their own lives.
- If the crime causes 02 or more persons to commit suicide, the offender shall be subject to imprisonment from 02 years up to 07 years.

Thus, according to the above provisions, the Crime of Inciting or Aiding Another to Commit Suicide falls under serious crimes.
