Proposal and Draft Decision on Amnesty to be Submitted to the President of the State No Later than How Many Days?

Based on Article 8 of the Amnesty Law 2018, the order and procedures for submitting a proposal to the President for promulgating an Amnesty Decision are as follows:

At the request of the President or in the case where the Government of Vietnam proposes an amnesty accepted by the President, the Government of Vietnam shall preside, cooperate with the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and relevant agencies to study and draft the proposal and the draft Amnesty Decision. The proposal and draft Amnesty Decision must be submitted to the President no later than 60 days before the amnesty date for the President to review and promulgate the Amnesty Decision.

Accordingly, the proposal and draft Amnesty Decision must be submitted to the President no later than 60 days before the amnesty date for the President to review and promulgate the Amnesty Decision in accordance with the above regulations.
