Is it required to sign if you disagree with the contents of the execution report?
According to Clause 2, Article 11 of Joint Circular 02/2020/TTLT-BCA-BQP-BYT-BNG-TANDTC-VKSNDTC (effective from December 01, 2020), the **** execution report of a death penalty must ensure the following contents:
- The report must clearly state the hour, day, month, year, location of the execution, and the place where the report was made; the activities conducted in accordance with legal procedures and regulations, and the situation and developments occurring during the execution.
- The report must be read to the Execution Council and the witnesses. The members of the Execution Council and the witnesses must sign the report. If there are differing opinions or disagreements with the report's contents, they have the right to record their opinions in the report and sign it.
Therefore, in cases of disagreement with the contents of the execution report of the death penalty, the individuals must still sign the report.
