Inmates sentenced to death must be detained in separate cells
Based on Point b Clause 4 Article 18 of the Law on Temporary Detention and Custody 2015, which stipulates:
Persons under temporary detention, and persons under temporary custody as defined in Points e, i, and m Clause 1 of this Article, may be placed in separate cells;
According to Point i Clause 1 Article 18, this pertains to individuals sentenced to death.
From the above provisions, individuals sentenced to death may be placed in separate cells but it is not mandatory to detain them in separate cells.
