How many months is the maximum duration for resolving a complaint?

Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 147 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2015 as follows:

In case the reported incident, information on crimes, or prosecution recommendations have many complicated details or need to be checked and verified at multiple locations, the time limit for handling reports, information, or prosecution recommendations may be extended but not exceeding 02 months. If it is not possible to conclude the verification within the time limit stipulated in this clause, the Chief Procurator of the same-level Procuracy or the Chief Procurator of the competent Procuracy may extend it once but not exceeding 02 months.

Thus, the maximum time for the competent authority to resolve a crime report is no more than 04 months.
