How many kilograms of fake rice must be sold to be imprisoned?

Clause 1, Article 193, Criminal Code 2015 regulates the Crime of producing, trading in counterfeit goods which are food, foodstuffs, and food additives, accordingly:

Any person who produces or trades in counterfeit goods which are food, foodstuffs, and food additives shall be sentenced to imprisonment from 02 years to 05 years.

Thus, simply engaging in trading counterfeit food, such as counterfeit rice, will result in imprisonment from 02 years to 05 years, without the need to meet the condition regarding the quantity of counterfeit goods. If the quantity of counterfeit goods reaches the level specified in other Clauses of this Article, the punishment will be applied according to that Clause.
