Funeral Expenses for Persons Executed by Lethal Injection

According to Article 7 of Decree 43/2020/ND-CP (effective from April 15, 2020), the content is regulated as follows:

The burial costs for a person executed by death penalty include: 01 wooden coffin, 01 set of clothing, 04 meters of shroud cloth, incense, candles, wine, alcohol for cleaning the corpse when shrouded, and other burial expenses.

In the case where the relatives or the legal representative of the person sentenced to death receive the corpse or ashes for burial, they must bear the costs themselves and commit to comply with the laws regarding ensuring security, order, and environmental sanitation.
