a) Fabricating or spreading information known to be false to seriously infringe upon the dignity, honor, or cause damage to the lawful rights and interests of others;
b) Falsely accusing others of committing a crime and denouncing them to competent authorities.

Thus, in cases where a person defames, fabricates, or slanders others as outlined above, they shall be subject to criminal liability for this crime. This is the lightest penalty framework for this crime, and those prosecuted may face a minimum imprisonment of 03 months.
