Section 1 Article 107 of the Criminal Code 2015 stipulates:
- Individuals under 18 years of age who are convicted are considered to have no criminal record if they fall into one of the following cases:
a) Persons aged from 14 to under 16 years;
b) Persons aged from 16 to under 18 years who are convicted of less serious crimes, serious crimes, or very serious crimes due to unintentional fault;
c) Persons subject to judicial measures specified in Section 3 of this Chapter.
Therefore, based on this provision, a 17-year-old individual convicted of a serious crime will be considered to have no criminal record.
