At What Age Is the Penalty for Child Rape Execution?

Section 24 Article 1 of the Law amending the Criminal Code 2017 amends Clause 3 Article 142 of the Criminal Code 2015, stipulating the crime of rape of persons under 16 years old, as follows:

Committing the crime in one of the following cases shall be punishable by 20 years' imprisonment, life imprisonment, or the death penalty:

a) Organized crime;

b) Multiple people raping one person;

c) Against persons under 10 years old;

d) Causing injury, harm to health, or causing mental disorder and behavior of the victim with a body impairment rate of 61% or higher;

dd) Knowing that one is infected with HIV but still committing the crime;

Thus, in the case of raping a child under 10 years old, the offender may be sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment, life imprisonment, or the death penalty.
