Article 2. Tasks
1. Advise and implement
a) Disseminate and mobilize the populace to implement the Party’s guidelines, policies, and laws of the State, contributing to the enhancement of people's mastery rights; strengthening social consensus; building the great national unity bloc.
b) Representing, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people.
c) Participating in the building of the Communist Party, the State, and the political system.
d) Conduct social supervision and criticism.
e) Consolidate and aggregate the opinions and recommendations of voters and the people to reflect and propose to the Party and the State.
f) Conduct people-to-people diplomacy activities.
2. Principal coordination.
a) Draft Party documents, resolutions, and directives related to the Vietnam Fatherland Front; propose the drafting of laws and ordinances.
b) Coordinate and unify actions with member organizations’ agencies to organize campaigns and patriotic emulation movements that are nationwide, comprehensive, and universal.
c) Coordinate with functional agencies, party committees, and local governments in building the organizational structure and the cadre contingent of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.
d) Organize training, scientific research, museum work, supervision, and social criticism.
