Criteria for Level 2 Information Systems in Banking Operations
According to Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 09/2020/TT-NHNN (Effective from January 1, 2021) stipulating that level 2 information systems are those that meet one of the following criteria:
- Information systems serving the internal operations of the organization, processing proprietary information, personal information of users, restricted access information as prescribed by the organization, but not processing state secret information;
- Information systems serving customers that do not require 24/7 operation;
- Information infrastructure systems serving the operations of certain departments within the organization or microfinance institutions, grassroots people's credit funds.
