Responsibilities of Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affairs in implemantation of the national strategy for development of digital economy and digital society by 2025, orientation towards 2030 in Vietnam

Pursuant to Clause 7, Article 2 of the Decision 411/QD-TTg in 2022 stipulating responsibilities of Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affairs in implemantation of the national strategy for development of digital economy and digital society by 2025, orientation towards 2030 in Vietnam as follows:

7. The Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affairs shall assign tasks to universities, colleges and vocational education institutions:

a) Develop training programs pursuant to the contents of the Strategy in a manner that is appropriate for digital economy and digital society development.

b) Universities, colleges and vocational education institutions shall consider addition to their training programs new majors, knowledge and skills that will satisfy the demands for information technology and digital technology workforce of Vietnam in the next 05 - 10 years.

c) Mobilize the most of available resources; combine with other programs and projects; effectively use state investment capital for training of engineers, bachelors, practice engineers and practice bachelors specialized in digital technology, digital economy and digital society.

d) Increase the volume of practice in digital technology, digital economy and digital society training; introduce digital platforms and digital technologies, especially digital platforms of Vietnams and open technologies, in training programs in order for students to have practical experience.

dd) Actively carry out comprehensive digital transformation; participate in development and experiment of digital universities.

Pursuant to Clause 12, Article 2 of the Decision 411/QD-TTg in 2022 stipulating responsibilities of Ministry of Home Affairs in implemantation of the national strategy for development of digital economy and digital society by 2025, orientation towards 2030 in Vietnam as follows:

12. The Ministry of Home Affairs shall take charge of performance of the tasks specified in Point c Clause 1 of Section VI; execute the assigned solutions and tasks in the Appendix within the scope of their functions and duties.
