Transporting Gas for Traders Without a Valid Gas Business License – What is the Penalty?

Based on Point a Clause 2 Article 52 of Decree 99/2020/ND-CP, the regulation is as follows:

A fine ranging from 40,000,000 VND to 60,000,000 VND shall be imposed on gas transportation business traders who engage in transporting gas for traders without a valid gas business license as prescribed.

This penalty applies to violating organizations (Article 5 of this Decree).

Thus, in cases where gas transportation business traders are organizations transporting gas for traders without a valid gas business license as prescribed, they shall be fined from 40,000,000 VND to 60,000,000 VND.

Furthermore, they are required to return the illegal profits obtained from performing the violating act. In cases of repeated violations or recidivism, they will also be subject to suspension of operations from 01 month to 03 months (Point a Clause 5 and Point b Clause 6 of this Article).
