Authority to Sanction of Inspectors in the Activity of Counterfeit Goods Trading?
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 87 of Decree 98/2020/ND-CP, regarding authority as follows:
- Investigators, individuals tasked with executing specialized inspection duties while performing their official duties have the authority to:
+ Issue warnings;
+ Impose fines up to VND 500,000 for individuals and fines up to VND 1,000,000 for organizations;
+ Confiscate exhibits and means of administrative violations with a value not exceeding the fine amount specified in point b of this clause;
+ Apply remedial measures stipulated in point b, Clause 3, Article 4 of this Decree.
