1. Responsibilities of Intermediate Storage Technicians

Based on Clause 1, Article 21 of Circular 29/2022/TT-BTC, the responsibilities of intermediate storage technicians are as follows:

Intermediate storage technicians are officials responsible for executing the professional tasks of the national reserve sector. They are directly assigned by the leadership to perform certain tasks in the fields of quality management, preservation, and management of economic and technical standards for national reserve goods according to prescribed technical procedures.

2. What are the duties of intermediate storage technicians?

According to Clause 2, Article 21 of Circular 29/2022/TT-BTC, the duties of intermediate storage technicians are as follows:

a) Directly execute technical operations and inspect the preparation of warehouses, delivery vehicles, and measurement equipment to serve the receipt and delivery of reserve goods as assigned by the leadership;

b) Directly inspect and supervise the quality of national reserve goods before warehousing and delivery to ensure technical quality standards as prescribed; directly take samples, analyze samples, prepare technical dossiers and report accordingly;

c) Directly inspect, supervise, and guide the preservation work and quality monitoring of national reserve goods by the Sub-department of State Reserves; guide warehousekeepers in maintaining preservation logs; report and promptly propose handling solutions for any issues arising with goods during the preservation process;

d) Determine quality indices for national reserve goods that are assigned for direct inspection, monitoring, and management of the equipment assigned to them.
