How much is the court fee for filing a divorce petition?

Based on Resolution 326/2016/UBTVQH14, the civil court fees are regulated as follows:

1. First-instance civil and family marriage fees without specified amounts: 300,000 VND

2. In cases where divorce procedures involve disputes over assets, fees will apply as follows:

- Up to 6,000,000 VND: The fee is 300,000 VND;

- Over 6,000,000 VND to 400,000,000 VND: The fee is 5% of the disputed asset value;

- 400,000,000 VND to 800,000,000 VND: The fee is 20,000,000 VND + 4% of the disputed asset value exceeding 400,000,000 VND;

- 800,000,000 VND to 2,000,000,000 VND: The fee is 36,000,000 VND + 3% of the disputed asset value exceeding 800,000,000 VND;

- 2,000,000,000 VND to 4,000,000,000 VND: The fee is 72,000,000 VND + 2% of the disputed asset value exceeding 2,000,000,000 VND;

- Over 4,000,000,000 VND: The fee is 112,000,000 VND + 0.1% of the disputed asset value exceeding 4,000,000,000 VND.

=> Thus, according to the above regulations, if the parties only file for divorce to resolve personal relations or child custody issues, the fee is 300,000 VND. If there is a request to resolve asset division, the fee will be based on the value of those assets. You can determine based on the above regulations.
