Excerpts Fee for Birth Certificate Copies
Article 4 of Circular 281/2016/TT-BTC stipulates the fees and charges for accessing and using information in the civil status database as follows:

| 4 | Fee for accessing and using information in the civil status database | 8,000 VND /certified copy of extract/registered civil status event |
| 5 | Fee for certifying Vietnamese nationality | 100,000 VND/case |
| 6 | Fee for certifying Vietnamese origin | 100,000 VND/case |
According to the above regulations, the fee for obtaining a certified copy of a birth certificate extract is 8,000 VND/certified copy. The case where the Commune People's Committee charges a fee of 10,000 VND/certified copy is not in accordance with the regulations.
