8/ People's Court of Phu Nhuan District: 05 Mediators
9/ People's Court of Tan Binh District: 05 Mediators

What conditions must be met to be selected as a mediator of the People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam?
In Subsection 1, Section I, Notice 867/TB-TCCB in 2023 provides for the conditions for selection as a Mediator as follows:
1/ A Vietnamese citizen permanently residing in Vietnam has full civil act capacity, has good moral qualities, is exemplary in law observance and fully meets the following conditions:
a/ Having worked as a judge, court examiner, court clerk, procurator, examiner of the procuracies, civil judgment enforcement enforcers, inspectors; Lawyers, experts and other professionals with at least 10 years of experience in the field of work; people who are knowledgeable about customs and habits, have a good reputation in the population community;
b/ Having experience and skills in mediation and dialogue;
c/ Having good health to complete assigned tasks;
d/ Having a certificate of professional training in conciliation and dialogue issued by a training institution of the Supreme People's Court, except for those who are already judges or examiners of the rank of principal examiner or senior examiner, Court Clerk of the rank of Chief Clerk, Senior Clerk, Procurator, Civil Judgment Execution Officer, Inspector.
2/ A person who falls into one of the following cases may not act as a mediator:
+ Does not meet the conditions specified in item 1 above.
+ Currently working as cadres, civil servants, public employees, officers, non-commissioned officers of the People's Army, professional soldiers, workers, and defense officers; officers and non-commissioned officers of the People's Public Security.

What is deadline and place to submit the application for appointment of a mediator of the People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam?
In Section III of Notice 867/TB-TCCB in 2023 of the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City has regulations on the time limit and place to submit the application for appointment of a mediator of the People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City:
Within 15 days from the date of notification, an individual that meets the prescribed conditions is required to submit an application for appointment:
- For individuals who wish to be mediators at the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City: File directly at the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City through the Department of Personnel, Inspection and Examination and Commendation (address 131 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Ben Thanh ward, District 1).
- For individuals who wish to work as mediators in Thu Duc district, district or city: Apply directly at the Office of the People's Court of Thu Duc district, city or district.
Within 05 days from the expiration of the time limit for receiving the dossier, the Court where the application is received shall send the list to the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City through the Personnel Department for submission.
