Is it possible to postpone the execution of education at a reformatory school when one has to be hospitalized due to a fall?
Could the implementation of reformatory education be postponed when an emergency due to a fall occurs?
My child is required to attend reformatory school, but he fell and had to be taken to the emergency room. Can the entry to reformatory school be postponed?
Answer:
According to Clause 1, Article 142 of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments 2019 stipulates as follows:
Minors can have the execution of the judicial measure of education at a reformatory school postponed in the following cases:
a) Seriously ill, in an emergency, or for other health reasons that make traveling impossible and confirmed by a medical facility from district level or higher;
b) Other legitimate reasons confirmed by the Head of the district-level criminal judgment execution agency.
Therefore, since your child fell and had to be taken to the emergency room, it falls under the cases where the execution of the judicial measure of education at a reformatory school can be postponed as regulated by law.

Can people visit and send gifts to students at reformatory schools?
An acquaintance of mine has to attend a reformatory school. Can I visit him? We are very close friends. If visiting isn't allowed, can I send him gifts?
Answer:
According to Article 153 of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments 2019 on the visitation policies for students at reformatory schools, it stipulates:
Students can meet relatives at the reception area of the reformatory school and must comply with the visitation rules.
Students can send and receive letters, and receive gifts including money, items except for alcohol, beer, cigarettes, stimulants, and items and types of cultural products on the prohibited list. The reformatory school is responsible for inspecting letters and gifts before students send or receive them. If students have money or valuable documents, they must send them to the reformatory school for management and use according to the school's regulations.
Therefore, students at reformatory schools can only meet their relatives. In the case of non-relatives, visitation will not be allowed. Regarding sending gifts, students at the reformatory schools can receive gifts but not alcohol, beer, cigarettes, stimulants, or items and types of cultural products on the prohibited list.
Are there reward policies for students at reformatory schools?
I have a younger sibling who is undergoing educational measures at a reformatory school. Recently, my sibling sent a letter home mentioning his good academic performance and adherence to school rules. I would like to know if students at reformatory schools with good academic performance will be rewarded like ordinary students?
Answer:
According to Clause 1, Article 155 of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments 2019 on rewarding students undergoing educational measures at reformatory schools, it stipulates:
Students who comply with the law and the rules of the reformatory school, and achieve good academic results or make meritorious contributions, will be rewarded by the Principal with one or more of the following forms:
- Commendation, giving certificates of merit, giving gifts;- Allowing participation in excursions organized by the reformatory school.
Therefore, according to the above regulations, students with good academic performance and who comply with the law and the rules at the reformatory school will be rewarded. In this case, your sibling will be rewarded in one of the above forms.
Sincerely!
