Standards for Selecting Forensic Examiners by Case in Science and Technology Activities
According to Article 6 of Circular 03/2022/TT-BKHCN (effective from June 15, 2022), the standards for selecting forensic examiners by case in science and technology activities are stipulated as follows:
Forensic examiners by case in science and technology activities are Vietnamese citizens, residing in Vietnam, who meet the provisions of Clauses 1 and 2, Article 18 of the Law on Forensic Examination and do not fall into one of the cases specified in Clause 2, Article 4 of this Circular.
Standards for Selecting Forensic Examination Organizations by Case in Science and Technology Activities
Article 7 of this Circular stipulates the standards for selecting forensic examination organizations by case in science and technology activities as follows:
Forensic examination organizations by case in science and technology activities must meet the following conditions:
Possess legal entity status;
Have professional activities that align with the field of forensic examination as specified in Article 3 of this Circular;
Have specialized personnel, facilities, equipment, and means to ensure the implementation of forensic examination in the fields specified in Article 3 of this Circular.
