Can the Procuracy Receive Crime Reports?

In the field of criminal and criminal procedure law, when a crime report is sent to the Procuracy, does this agency have the authority to receive it? Or is this the exclusive jurisdiction of the investigation agency?

Pursuant to Clause 2a Article 145 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2015, the provisions are as follows:

- All denunciations, crime reports, and petitions for prosecution must be fully received and promptly addressed. Agencies and organizations responsible for receiving such information must not refuse to accept denunciations, crime reports, or petitions for prosecution.

- Agencies and organizations responsible for receiving denunciations, crime reports, and petitions for prosecution include:

+ Investigation agencies and the Procuracy receiving denunciations, crime reports, and petitions for prosecution.

Thus, when there is a crime report, the Procuracy must receive this report according to the provisions of the law.

Respectfully!
