What are the Requirements for Entrants at Border Gates?

Based on Clause I Section II Chapter II guiding medical isolation and COVID-19 prevention for entrants, attached to Decision 3092/QD-BYT of 2021, the regulations are as follows:

II. UPON ENTRY AT THE BORDER GATE

1. Entrants:

- Strictly follow COVID-19 prevention measures, especially the 5K message.

- Present the documents specified in Clause 5, Section I Chapter II of this Guideline to quarantine and immigration control officers.

- Move along the designated route to the waiting area for transfer to the medical isolation facility.

- Receive and install phone SIM cards, install and activate the VHD and Bluezone apps (always keep Bluetooth and GPS activated), receive and wear a smart bracelet (for those who do not use smartphones); always use these applications from the time of entry until the end of the following 28 days.

- Complete health declarations for entrants at land border gates and port entry points who do not use smartphones and have no one to assist with health declarations.

- Comply with immediate medical isolation measures at the border gate if there are any suspected COVID-19 symptoms.
