What are the Components of Standard Medical Masks?
According to the provisions of Section 3.2, Clause 3 of the Vietnamese Standards TCVN 8389-1:2010, regular medical masks consist of the following components:
- Fabric layers: can have from 2 to 4 layers of non-woven fabric, in a flat format, with pleats;
- Microfilter layer;
- Nose clip;
- Ear loops.
Design and size are not mandatory, but they must ensure to cover the nose and mouth.
