What are regulations on the percentage of body damage in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 1 of Circular 22/2019/TT-BYT stipulating the percentage of body injury as follows:

To promulgate together with this Circular the following table of percentages of bodily harm or damage to health, collectively referred to as the percentage of bodily harm (hereinafter abbreviated as percentage of TTCT) used in forensic examination, forensic psychiatric assessment, including:

1. Table 1: Percentage of TTCT due to injuries used in forensic examination;

2. Table 2: Percentage of deaths due to diseases and disabilities used in forensic examination;

3. Table 3: Percentage of TTCT due to sequelae of mental and behavioral disorders after trauma, traumatic brain injury used in forensic psychiatric assessment;

4. Table 4: Percentage of TTCT due to mental and behavioral disorders used in forensic examination.

What are principles of body injury assessment in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 1 of Circular 22/2019/TT-BYT stipulating principles of body injury assessment as follows:

1. The assessment to determine the percentage of TTCT must be carried out on the person to be assessed, except for the case specified in Clause 2 of this Article.

2. The assessment to determine the percentage of TTCT is carried out on the file in case the person to be assessed has died or is missing or other cases as prescribed by law.

When assessing on the dossier, the percentage of TTCT is determined at the lowest level of the scale corresponding to the percentage of TTCT.

3. The percentage of TTCT is determined at the time of assessment.
