Pursuant to Article 12 of Decree 46/2019/ND-CP stipulating violations against regulations on obligations of high-achievement sports referees as follows:
A fine of from VND 15,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for dishonesty or partiality in controlling sports competition.
According to this Article, the match referee who acts biased or unfair in controlling sports competition shall be fined from VND 15,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 for violations in Vietnam.
What are penalties for grades awarded to unqualified referees in Vietnam?
According to the provisions of Article 13 of Decree 46/2019/ND-CP on violations against regulations on grades awarded to high-achievement sports athletes, coaches, referees as follows:
1. A fine of from VND 1,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed for grades awarded to unqualified athletes.
2. A fine of from VND 5,000,000 to VND 10.000.000 shall be imposed for grades awarded to unqualified coaches or referees.
3. Remedial measures:
Enforced cancellation of grades awarded imposed for the violations prescribed in Clause 1 and Clause 2 hereof.
Thus, for the act of grades awarded to unqualified referees, a fine of from VND 5,000,000 to VND 10,000,000 will be imposed. The referee who is awarded a rank will have the result of the award annulled for the violation in Vietnam.
