Vietnam: Is it permissible to lend medical practice certificate?

My friend borrowed my medical practice certificate in Vietnam. May I lend this certificate to my friend? If I lend it, will I face penalties?

According to Clause 4, Article 6 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2009, hiring, borrowing, leasing, or lending medical practice certificates or operation licenses are prohibited in Vietnam.

Under the above regulation, you are not allowed to lend your medical practice certificate to your friend. If you commit such  violation, the penalties will be as follows:

Under Point dd, Clause 7, and Point d, Clause 8, Article 38 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP:

- A fine ranging from VND 30,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 for the following act: hiring, borrowing, leasing, or lending medical practice certificates;

- Revocation of the medical practice certificate for 22 - 24 months for this violation.

Respectfully!
