Unpaid Leave to Participate in Household Health Insurance: Is There a 5-Year Continuous Interruption?
According to Clause 5, Article 12 of Decree 146/2018/ND-CP, it is stipulated as follows:
The continuous participation time of 05 years or more in health insurance applies to individuals who are required to co-pay medical examination and treatment costs. The continuous participation time in health insurance is the time recorded on the health insurance card from one issuance to the next, with an interruption of no more than 03 months.
Based on the above provision, you can participate in health insurance under a different category (according to household) as long as the interruption does not exceed 3 months, you will still enjoy the above policies. Additionally, the information will be stored in the management system of the Social Insurance agency when you participate in health insurance.
Respectfully!
