Responsibility of the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Pasteur Institute in Implementing Covid-19 Testing
According to Section III.3 of the Temporary Guidance on Covid-19 Testing issued with Decision 1282/QD-BYT in 2020, the content is regulated as follows:
The Epidemiology Institutes, Pasteur Institutes:
- Assess and advise the Ministry of Health on implementing testing methods according to each surveillance strategy.
- Support testing facilities in enhancing and upgrading their COVID-19 testing capabilities.
- Train and provide technical support to staff at COVID-19 testing facilities.
- Inspect and supervise COVID-19 testing facilities within their assigned areas.
The above is the support content regarding the responsibilities of the Epidemiology Institutes and Pasteur Institutes in organizing Covid-19 testing.
