Requirements for the Communal People's Committee When F1 Individuals Are Quarantined at Home

Based on Section 7 of the Guidelines for Home Quarantine Conditions to Prevent and Control Covid-19 (Attached to Official Dispatch 5152/BYT-MT of 2021), the requirements for the People's Committees of communes and wards when an F1 case is under home quarantine are as follows:

- The People's Committee of the commune or ward only permits home quarantine after checking and confirming that the home quarantine conditions are met as per the form in Appendix 4;

- Provide the quarantined person and household members with the information (name, phone number) of the healthcare officer responsible for monitoring health to establish contact;

- Organize management, monitoring, and strict enforcement of home quarantine; conduct health supervision for the quarantined person during the quarantine period and after the quarantine ends;

- Require household members of the quarantined person not to have contact with surrounding people, not to go out unnecessarily, and to keep a full record of contact points during the home quarantine period;

- Organize the collection and transportation of infectious medical waste for treatment as per regulations.
