Quarantine and Medical Treatment for F2
Based on Section 3.3, Subsection 3, Section IV of the temporary guidance on COVID-19 surveillance and prevention (Promulgated with Decision 3638/QD-BYT, 2021) regulating quarantine and medical treatment for F2 individuals:
- Compile a list of F2 individuals and, depending on the situation, risk assessment, and epidemiological context, proceed to collect and test F2 samples extensively.
- Organize home quarantine for F2 individuals while awaiting the Real-time RT-PCR test results of F1:
+ If the first Real-time RT-PCR test result of F1 is positive for SARS-CoV-2, upgrade the quarantine level of F2 to F1.
+ If the first Real-time RT-PCR test result of F1 and F2 (if any) are both negative for SARS-CoV-2, based on risk assessment and epidemiological context, determine that F2 can end home quarantine and continue self-monitoring their health for 14 days. Should any suspected symptoms of the disease appear, they must immediately notify the healthcare authorities and the Community COVID-19 Team.
Respectfully!
