Process for Developing Programs and Continuous Training Materials for Health Officials
Process of developing continuous training programs and materials for health officials as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 1 of Circular 26/2020/TT-BYT. To be specific:
- Step 1. Identifying needs and training content: The training institution conducts surveys, identifies the needs of learners, and the training content to develop programs and training materials;
- Step 2. Establishing the Drafting Committee for continuous training programs and materials: The Head of the continuous training institution decides to establish the Drafting Committee for continuous training programs and materials. The number and standards of the members of the Drafting Committee are decided by the Head of the training institution but must ensure that the members participating in the Drafting Committee have qualifications not lower than the level of the training program being developed;
- Step 3. Organizing the development of continuous training programs and materials: The Drafting Committee for continuous training programs and materials develops continuous training programs and materials as prescribed in Clauses 2 and 3, Article 7 of this Circular;
- Step 4. Appraising continuous training programs and materials: The Head of the continuous training institution establishes the Appraisal Council for continuous training programs and materials. The Appraisal Council has at least 05 members, including a Chairman, 02 review members, 01 member cum secretary, and other members. In which, members of the Appraisal Council must not be members of the Drafting Committee for continuous training programs and materials and have qualifications not lower than the level of the training program being developed;
- Step 5. Issuing continuous training programs and materials: The Head of the continuous training institution signs the decision to issue continuous training programs and materials after being evaluated as meeting the requirements by the Appraisal Council as specified at point d of this Clause; publicly announces the continuous training programs and materials on the website of the training institution.
