Oversight Work for Current Malaria Treatment
Based on Section 6.2.1, Subsection 6.2, Section 6, Part III of the Guidelines for Malaria Surveillance and Prevention (issued together with Decision 4922/QD-BYT in 2021) that stipulates in professional and technical tasks as follows:
Surveillance Activities
- Develop an outbreak response plan to submit to the Epidemic Control Steering Committee and local authorities.
- Organize surveillance to detect suspected cases and confirmed cases early, focusing on high-risk groups and factors that could spread the epidemic.
- Organize blood tests to detect malaria parasites among the entire population in the outbreak area.
- Conduct entomological investigations to determine species composition, density, and mosquito infection indices with malaria parasites.
- Provide training for the epidemic response team before entering the outbreak area.
