Nearsightedness of 1.25 and Astigmatism of 0.75: What is the Health Classification?

Based on Appendix 1 Classification of Health According to Physical Fitness and Diseases issued together with Joint Circular 16/2016/TTLT-BYT-BQP, the following are stipulated:

Number 5. Types of Astigmatism: Score 6

Thus, your case will be identified as having Type 6 health.

Additionally, Point a, Clause 3, Article 4 of Circular 148/2018/TT-BQP stipulates health standards for military recruitment as follows:

Select citizens with Type 1, 2, or 3 health according to the regulations in Joint Circular 16/2016/TTLT-BYT-BQP dated June 30, 2016, by the Minister of Health - Minister of National Defense which regulate health examinations for military service.

Based on the above regulations, your case does not qualify for military service due to not meeting the health condition requirements.
