Issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety: Is Food Safety Knowledge Training Required?
According to Section 1(d), Article 36 of the 2010 Law on Food Safety, the application dossier for a Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility includes the following:
- Application for the Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility;
- A copy of the business registration certificate;
- A description of the infrastructure, equipment, and utensils ensuring food safety conditions as prescribed by the competent state management agency;
- Health certificates for the establishment's owner and those directly involved in food production and business, issued by a district-level or higher medical facility;
- Certificates of completion of food safety training for the establishment's owner and those directly involved in food production and business, as regulated by the Ministry Director of the relevant sector.
Thus, in the case that your enterprise applies for a Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility, it must include the Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility as required by the law.
