Accordingly, it depends on whether your father lost the entire thumb including the metacarpophalangeal joint or part of the bone to determine the specific injury percentage. However, based on the above regulation, the injury can range from 21% - 30% depending on the severity. Additionally, to accurately know the injury percentage, your father should go to the hospital for examination and assessment.
