In which cases is it required to arrange an area for first aid and emergency services?

Section 1, Article 8 of Circular 19/2016/TT-BYT stipulates:

In cases where more than 300 people are working together on a single site, a first aid and emergency care area must be arranged.

Therefore, in the case that your company has 350 workers working simultaneously on the same site, a first aid and emergency care area must be arranged.

The first aid and emergency care area must meet the following minimum requirements:

- It must be spacious enough to place a stretcher and have space for an injured worker to lie down. It must be ventilated, illuminated, and have clear signage (cross symbol);

- It should be arranged near restrooms, easily accessible from the work and production area, and convenient for first aid, emergency care, or transporting workers in case of a workplace accident;

- The list of equipment for the first aid and emergency care area must comply with regulations.
