Household Businesses and Stalls in Service Areas: Required Measures to Prevent and Control COVID-19 Transmission

According to the latest regulations: What do business households and stalls in service areas need to do to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19?

Pursuant to Section II, Part Two, Guidelines for COVID-19 prevention, control, and risk assessment of infection transmission at shopping centers, supermarkets, markets, and restaurants, issued together with Decision 5619/QD-BYT of 2021, it is stipulated that Business households, stalls in service areas must implement the following measures to prevent COVID-19 infection:

II. For business households/stalls in service areas

  1. Comply with the arrangement of sales locations by the service area management unit, ensuring safe distancing for disease prevention and control.

  2. Require sellers, workers/employees not to come to work if they exhibit any symptoms such as fatigue, fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or are under home isolation as required by health authorities.

  3. Require sellers, workers/employees to always adhere to the 5K message and other disease prevention regulations as guided by the service area management unit.

  4. Immediately inform the service area management staff, the focal point responsible for epidemic prevention at the service area if any symptoms such as fatigue, fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing are detected in themselves or customers, workers/employees, sellers; limit contact, maintain safe distancing, and strictly follow the guidance of the service area management unit.

  5. Remind customers to always wear masks and comply with distancing measures when purchasing and waiting to purchase goods.

  6. Manage workers/employees and sellers' information such as name, year of birth, ID/CCCD number, residential address, phone number, hometown address; require workers/employees and sellers to report if they have come into contact with cases F0, F1, or F2.

  7. Ensure the following disease prevention requirements: daily disinfection and cleaning; ensuring ventilation; maintaining safe distancing for workers/employees, sellers, and customers; display a contact phone number sign for reporting suspicious symptoms of illness.

  8. Sign a commitment to implementing COVID-19 prevention and control work according to the form in Appendix 2 attached to these Guidelines.

  9. Regularly self-assess the risk of COVID-19 infection once a week according to the form in Appendix 5 attached to these Guidelines.
