Fees for SARS-CoV-2 Testing Services Not Covered by the Health Insurance Fund

According to Clause 2, Article 3 of Circular 16/2021/TT-BYT, the regulation on the service price for SARS-CoV-2 testing in cases not covered by the Health Insurance Fund is as follows:

- For state-run healthcare establishments under provinces, centrally-run cities, and healthcare establishments under ministries, central agencies located in local areas, except for cases specified in point b of this clause: The determination of the price shall be in accordance with Clause 1 of this Article, wherein the price includes direct costs and salary costs (excluding testing reagents) as stipulated by the local competent authority but shall not exceed the maximum price frame for SARS-CoV-2 testing services as specified in column 1 of Appendix I attached to this Circular;

- For healthcare establishments affiliated with the Ministry of Health and special-grade hospitals, grade I hospitals under ministries, central agencies, and public health establishments providing preventive health services: the service price shall be determined in accordance with Clause 1 of this Article.
