Change of Pharmacy Counter Location: Is Re-Evaluation of GPP Required?
As stipulated in Article 11 of Circular 02/2018/TT-BYT, the following cases require pharmacies to notify the Department of Health for reassessment of GPP:
- The establishment has been granted a Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business but changes the type of pharmaceutical business or the scope of pharmaceutical business that alters the business conditions; changes the location of the pharmaceutical business;
- Change in the position of the retail drug outlet at the same business location;
- Expansion of the retail drug outlet;
- Major repairs or structural changes to the retail drug outlet.
=> Therefore, according to the aforementioned regulations, the reassessment of GPP shall only be conducted in the aforementioned cases. In the case of a change in position, your unit must notify the directly managing Department of Health to carry out the reassessment of GDP.
