a) Identifying cases with insufficient physical fitness, deformities, abnormalities, and diseases that are exempt from military service registration.
b) Exploring personal and family medical history.

- Principles of the Military Service Health Examination Council's work
+ The Council operates based on the principle of collective decision-making, deciding on issues by majority vote.
+ In cases where Council members do not agree on the classification and conclusion of health, the Chairman of the Council records the health decision on the majority's opinion. In the event of a tie vote, the decision is made based on the vote of the Chairman of the Council. Any dissenting opinions must be fully recorded in the minutes, with the signatures of each Council member, and sent to the district Military Service Council.
Therefore, the Military Service Health Examination Council follows the principle of collective decision-making, deciding on issues by majority vote.

Duties of the members of the Military Service Health Examination Council:
- Chairman of the Council:
+ Manages the entire operations of the Council; takes responsibility to the district Military Service Council for the quality of health examinations for citizens subject to military service.
+ Implements and disseminates the plan for the military service health examination; provides guidance on health standards, responsibilities, duties, working principles, and assigns specific tasks to the members of the Health Examination Council.
+ Convenes and presides over Council meetings to reach conclusions on cases with dissenting opinions regarding health conclusions.
+ Organizes consultations and issues referral papers for citizens to undergo health examinations at healthcare facilities when necessary.
+ Personally determines the classification of health and signs on the military service health examination form.
+ Organizes experience-sharing meetings on the military service health examination work and reports to the district Military Service Council.
- Vice Chairman of the Council:
+ Represents the Chairman of the Council in their absence.
+ Directly participates in health examinations and consultations when necessary.
+ Attends the meetings of the Military Service Health Examination Council.
Therefore, the direct determination of health classification and signing on the military service health examination form is the responsibility of the Chairman of the Council.
