Can a medical examination certificate from 6 months ago be valid in Vietnam?
My medical examination certificate is more than 6 months since the conclusion of the medical examination in Vietnam. Can I still use this medical examination certificate to apply for a job? Thankyou.
Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 8 of Circular 14/2013/TT-BYT stipulates the value of medical examination certificates as follows:
3. Use value of ME certificate, periodical ME book:
a. ME certificate shall be valid within 12 (twelve) months from the day of signing health conclusion; In case making ME for Vietnamese workers going abroad for work under contract, value of ME certificate shall comply with regulation of country or territory where the Vietnamese workers arriving for work;
b. Result of periodical ME has use value as prescribed by law.
Thus, based on the above provisions, the medical examination certificate is valid within 12 (twelve) months from the date of signing the health conclusion in Vietnam. Therefore, your medical examination certificate from 6 months ago is still valid, you can still use it to apply for a job.
