Which entities can industrial waste-generating facilities transfer their regular industrial waste to?
According to Clause 1, Article 82 of the Environmental Protection Law 2020 (Effective from January 01, 2022) stipulates as follows:
Production, business, service establishments, concentrated production, business, service areas, industrial clusters, agencies, and organizations that generate ordinary industrial solid waste must reuse, recycle, recover energy, and treat ordinary industrial solid waste or transfer it to the following entities:
- Production establishments that directly use it as production materials, building materials or for land leveling and are allowed to operate according to the provisions of the law;
- Production establishments with the function of co-processing waste appropriately;
- Ordinary industrial solid waste treatment facilities with appropriate functions;
- Ordinary industrial solid waste transportation facilities that have a transfer contract with the entities specified in points a, b, or c of this clause.
