Are Inspection Stamps Issued for Automobiles the Same?
According to Clause 1, Article 9 of Circular 70/2015/TT-BGTVT, it is stipulated:
- Motor vehicles that pass the inspection requirements are issued a Certificate of Inspection and an Inspection Stamp in the form specified in Appendix VI of this Circular. The Certificate of Inspection and Inspection Stamps issued to the vehicles must have the same serial number, printed from the Inspection Management Program on templates uniformly issued by the Vietnam Register Department, with content that conforms to the Vehicle Dossier and data on the Inspection Management Program.
For automobiles equipped with scoring devices used in Driving Test Centers, trucks used in stations, ports, mining areas, and forestry (not intended for road traffic); motor vehicles not authorized for road traffic are only issued a Certificate of Inspection and not an Inspection Stamp.
For oversized, overweight motor vehicles operating in confined areas, only a Certificate of Inspection is issued and no Inspection Stamp. The Certificate of Inspection must contain the following remark: “Permission from the road management authority is required for road traffic.”
=> Thus, according to the above regulations, the Inspection Stamps issued to vehicles are uniformly issued by the Vietnam Register Department, so they are identical in form.
Sincerely.
