Working at a Cafe: Eligibility for Covid-19 Hardship Assistance

In Section 12 of Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of 2021, it is stipulated:

For workers without labor contracts (freelancers) and certain other specific groups:

Depending on specific conditions and the local budget capacity, provinces and cities shall develop criteria, identify subjects, and determine the amount of support. However, the support amount shall not be less than VND 1,500,000/person/occurrence or VND 50,000/person/day based on the actual number of days of work suspension as required by the locality.

=> Thus, based on the aforementioned regulation, it can be determined that workers employed at coffee shops may also receive support of at least VND 1,500,000/person/occurrence or VND 50,000/person/day based on the actual number of days the coffee shop is required to suspend operations.
