Support Levels and Payment Methods for Employees Who Terminate Employment Contracts but Do Not Qualify for Unemployment Benefits Due to Covid-19
Based on Article 22 of Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg specifying the support level and payment method for employees terminating labor contracts but not eligible for unemployment insurance due to Covid-19 as follows:
Support level: VND 3,710,000 per person.
Pregnant employees will receive an additional VND 1,000,000 per person; employees raising biological or adopted children or providing substitute care for children under 06 years old will receive an additional VND 1,000,000 per child under 06 years old, with support provided to only one individual who is either the mother, father, or substitute caregiver.
Payment method: A one-time payment to the employee.
