Must a Martyr’s Son Living with His Mother Contribute to the Gratitude Fund?
According to Clause 2, Article 7 of the Charter on the Management and Use of the Grateful Fund attached to Decree 45/2006/ND-CP, the subjects not subject to mobilization to contribute to the Grateful Fund include:
- Persons under 18 years of age, females over 55 years of age, and males over 60 years of age;- Subjects receiving allowances and subsidies according to the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of People with Merit to the Revolution;- Disabled persons as stipulated by the law on disabled persons;- Persons receiving pensions, long-term incapacity benefits, and social assistance benefits;- Students and pupils studying at universities, colleges, vocational colleges, secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, and vocational training centers.
According to the above regulations, you are not required to contribute to the Grateful Fund if you fall under one of the following cases:
- You are over 60 years old;- You are a disabled person according to the Law on Disabled Persons 2010.
